Industry-Academia Workshop

Industry-Academia Workshop

Solving pressing industrial challenges with mathematical modelling
Industry-Academia Workshop

This interactive industry-academia workshop aims to bring together companies and researchers with a mathematical background (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science). Several successful examples of collaborations between universities and companies will be presented by international and local experts. The workshop is a follow-up activity of the 1st Study Group with Industry in Cyprus, which took place in 2016 with the participation of the Cypriot companies Water Development Department, ENGINO, OSEL, and Party Ice, and these four collaborations will also be presented. Discussion and brainstorming will follow so that the participants are inspired to explore and launch their own collaborations.
